Sean Carey

Sean Carey is a 2014 of Indiana State University’s School of Music. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music Education, Magna Cum Laude, and studied violin with Dr. Bill Davis. He has performed as concertmaster with the ISU Symphony Orchestra, the Masterworks Chorale, and with Concert Choir and Sycamore Singers. He volunteered as instructor of the Crossroads of America Youth Orchestra Preparatory Strings and worked as a student violin instructor for the Community School of the Arts.  As one of ISU's Service Learning Scholars, he formed a partnership with the Crossroads of America Youth Orchestra and initiated an after school strings program at Deming Elementary School in Terre Haute, IN. In addition to teaching at Kokomo Schools, he is also the Youth Programs Director for the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra and performs with the symphony regularly.

I am in my 8th year of teaching at Wallace!  I love our school's program and enjoy working with a great music staff. I am also the director of orchestras at Central Middle International School.
